The flow data took account of both natural flow and external influences, e.g. abstraction. Webthe NPSH or Net Positive Suction Head. The NPSH for CEH-X pumps is very low due to its special construction. The axial and large diameter entrance leads to less flow disturbance and lower friction losses. Together with the low NPSH of the centrifugal impeller the CEH-X can handle a positive suction head of less than 0.5 m.
