The 3612 is an older version Ridgid TS but IMO is a better built and sturdier saw than the 3650. Keeping it real, the original knocks against the saw were that it came with steel wings, and the stock fence wasn't quite up to snuff with other fences in the same price range. These are splitter equipped saws in the US, however they have riving knives in Europe. There is a bracket that attaches to the arbor and that is what holds the RK.
WebSep 22, 2015 · From what I have read in reviews the fence on the Dewalt is not very good. The JET saw is still being produced so parts should be readily available. The fence on the JET is also a good quality fence, not the cadillac of fences but a good one.
