Webfetchmail is a mail-retrieval and forwarding utility; it fetches mail from remote mailservers and forwards it to your local (client) machine’s delivery system. You can then handle the retrieved mail using normal mail user agents such as mutt (1), elm (1) or Mail (1). WebFetchmail is an open-source software utility for POSIX -compliant operating systems which is used to retrieve e-mail from a remote POP3, IMAP, or ODMR mail server to the user's local system. It was developed from the popclient program, written by Carl Harris. [2]
