WebJan 2, 2024 · Ovation Magnum strings. What fits. Thanks! They are amazing basses, incredibly over-engineered, and nothing sounds like one. I have a Magnum III, it is the most stable and rigid neck I have ever come across. Output is pretty low, but that neck pickup is so sweet. As Jah Wobble says, they have the D and G string sound that fender missed on.
