WebFeb 21, 2024 · So I installed Prepar3d 5.3 hf2 on my 5tb 7200rpm hard drive and the stuttering and FPS drops have completely stopped. After installing on my regular hard drive, I completed many flights without any performance problems. I believe that there is some sort of issue with Prepar3d 5.3 and ssd hard drives. WebJul 22, 2024 · I have never used anything in the P3D SDK Advanced tuning section or changed affinity mask on any P3D product / version. Odd, I know some other people who are having stuttering issues in v5.2HF1. Hopefully the devs take notice. WebApr 26, 2024 · Sometimes the stutter starts right during pushback (maybe its there when p3d is loaded but can be noticed during movement only) and sometimes on finals . But once it shows up, rebooting is the only solution. I have tried the latest nvidia driver too. It does not resolve the issue. As keen as you to find a solution to the problem. It's weird that I'm having the opposite experience. With unlimited my FPS jump quite a bit and I get blurries, vs. locked I get a much better experience. It will automatically vary your Fiber framr fractio to help keep the fps higher and smoother. Also there is some YouTube guidance on managing Vsync, framerate and refresj rate to help with stutters.
