WebJun 2, 2010 · I am suggesting that as a new feature, the task_scheduler_init () method, that is often invoked internally, should check for an environment variable TBB_NUM_THREADS before determining how many threads to spawn via another method. This would not be a global override since it can be set differently in each environment.
