When I unplug the external monitor, the display goes back to the laptop screen. I have ran many diagnostics, updated the BIOS as well the display driver to no avail. When the monitors would come back up, all her icons would be rearranged either all on one monitor or the other. The 2 monitors she had were rather old and were both using a display port to VGA adapter. I used the same BenQ with my prior PC and when the PC shut down the monitor will turn off also and turn back on when the PC is restarted.
