WebThe Thule people, sometimes called proto-Inuit, were the direct ancestors of all modern Inuit. They were established in coastal Alaska by 1000 AD and expanded eastwards across Canada, reaching Greenland by the 13th century. In the process, they replaced people of the earlier Dorset culture that had previously inhabited the region. WebThule was a legendary island in the far north, similar to Atlantis, supposedly the center of a lost, high-level civilization. But not all secrets of that civilization had been completely wiped out.
